Solta beaches and excursions
1) Boat tour around the island – duration is one day. The tour includes one meal (sandwiches, fruit) and drinks. We will visit two beautiful bays on the south side of the island and have a swim there.
2) Excursions to the Senska, Stracinska, or Grabova bay on the south side of Solta by our Jeep. The road is not accessible with a regular car. The departure and return time will be arranged with the hosts. There are several beautiful beaches in the bay where you can swim and dive.
3) Tour of the eastern and western lookout point by our jeep. The departure and return time will be arranged with the hosts. The tour takes approx. 3 hours.
4) Tour of olive groves and visit to olive oil mill OLYNTHIA in Gornje Selo. The experience is completed with the tasting of extra virgin olive oil. You can also buy OLYNTHIA olive oils in their shop. The tour takes 2 hours; your hosts will bring you there and pick you up.
5) Tour of a vineyard and visit to an old, traditional wine cellar in Srednje Selo. The experience is completed with the tasting of local wine and rakija (local fruit brandy). You can visit this on foot; it is quite close to your apartment.
6) Preparation of a traditional Dalmatian meal by your hosts. We prepared a menu with couple of different traditional meals.
7) Boat tour to neighboring island of Brac. The tour includes one meal (sandwiches, fruit) and drinks. We will visit village Milna on Brac, and have a swim in one of the nearby bays.
8) Visit to the fish farm in bay Sesula by our jeep (the road is not accessible with a „normal“ car). The departure and return time will be arranged with the hosts. You can buy some fish there, clean it and grill it at home.
9) Our family beekeeping business has a 3 generations long tradition. You can learn more about the bees and bee products, as well as extract your own honey during a one hour presentation at Tvrdic property.
