About Bol
Bol is a biggest town and harbour on the southern side of the island Brac
in Croatia and also the oldest little town on the coast of Brac. Bol is famous for its beautiful
pebble beaches whereas the beach Zlatni rat is the most beautiful beach in the Adriatic. A necklace of beaches spreads to its eastern and western part. Zlatni rat has become the
famous trade mark of all Croatian tourism.
Economy is based on tourism, viticulture with a beautifull wine cellar
in the center if town with a capacity of 150 wagons and fishing. Sandy and pebble beaches
from Grabov rat on the east to the Blaca to the west
are
Zlatni Rat, Borak, Grabov rat, Potocine, Martinica, Murvica and Farska
and they stretch in the total length of 15 km. On the southern coast of the island
Brac aou can enjoy diving, scuba diving and underwater fishing.
There is also a beautifull steep hiking trail which leads from Bol to the vista point on Vidova Gora
with magnificent view to islands Hvar, Vis, Korcula, Lastovo and
also Italy.
In
Bol you can use 25 tennis courts, learn how to windsurf or kitesurf,
try many water sports, boccia, bowling, basketball, sand volleyball,
scuba diving and underwater fishing.
